A little info on my animation.

Here is a short breakdown in what my animation is about:


My plan is to make a 2D animation that has the underlying message of the human race's disregard for the environment, and the sustainability of the planet that we live in.

I will be using Adobe After Effects for the animation. Adobe Photoshop will be used for the textures and artwork, but I might experiment Painter or other digital painting tools to experiment with different art style effects.

(I remember I did mention it was a music video, but now I would rather categorize it in just 2D animation. Most because the animation does move along to the rhythm of the music score that I am using, but it is more towards a Japaneses style-narrative driven art piece paired with music to add to the dramatics.)

Ideas for Project 2

Well I have been having internal battles whether or not to make a GAME, or a short music video/ animation.

1. First Idea: Music video

The idea was to be based around global catastrophe and what would probably happen(in an animation) when a world of chaos, war, pollution crosses the line.

Basically the world is in another turmoil of human selfishness and greed, which gives pain suffering to earth.
On fine day~~~ It becomes extreme to the point that it shakes hell/ earth's dark side, which unleashes a wave of dark evil that sweeps over earth and engulfs all in it's path.
So in the end? All traces of humanity is wiped out. And all the plants and eco-systems come back to life...
Resulting in a happy Planet, being rid of it's long-term aching problem.

These are some rough storyboards which I drew with Microsoft Paint. (My photoshop CS3 was being a b**** to me, and still is. I am stuck with photoshop 7.0 now.)












2. Second idea: Game
My game idea is that you are a eccentric super hero, who is seen as a menace to society.
In the game you fly through the city, dodging buildings and flying Pigeons while at the same time using your laser eyes to zap evil crime doers.

I would really love to challenge myself with the game. But the caliber of my flash coding skills are not very impressive.

-Minus points when you zap the innocent.

-Minus the number of life points when you hit into buildings and Pigeons. (Pigeons are evil)
